Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF)
Since 1978, the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) has advocated for California family farmers and sustainable agriculture. CAFF plays a crucial role in supporting, creating, and leading campaigns and actions to advance the food movement. As a community organization, we build upon shared values around food and agriculture to create strong partnerships between family farmers and their neighborhoods. CAFF operates four programs: Biological Agriculture, Farm to School, Local Food Systems and Policy.
MISSION: To build sustainable food and farming systems through policy advocacy and on-the-ground programs that create more resilient family farms, communities, and ecosystems.
