Uprooted & Rising

We are a supermajority Black, Indigenous, and People of Color movement led by people who have been historically marginalized in our food system. We include students, workers, faculty, food producers, and community members that institutions of higher education are meant to serve. Support the needs of small-scale producers wanting to move towards institutional markets, facilitating connections and negotiations between colleges and universities and local producers while supplying farmers with the materials, infrastructure, certifications, and other resources required to scale to meet their procurement needs.
