Community Counseling Solutions

“Community Counseling Solutions offers a wide variety of behavioral health services to four counties in the state of Oregon, including individual, family, and group therapy, gambling counseling, alcohol and drug treatment, 24/7 crisis intervention services, psychiatric consultation, and medication management, in addition to cooperation with various other organizations including residential and acute psychiatric services and school programs. OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center’s ¡Salud! Services

A Project of Tuality Healthcare, “The ¡Salud! Services department is staffed with four full-time bilingual/bicultural employees including two registered nurses, a health educator, and an administrative coordinator. These medical professionals work to assist with access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families by utilizing their patient navigator knowledge to provide guidance, education, and to advocate for families which ultimately helps to avoid costly medical expenses. They interact directly with the workers and their families to assist them with health problems and accessibility issues as they arise.” Also partner with Community-based clinics and offer Mobile Outreach Wellness Program.

Western Center for Agricultural Health and Safety (WCAHS)

“WCAHS is a multidisciplinary center located at the University of California, Davis. One of 11 agricultural health and safety centers in the U.S established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), WCAHS has an almost 30-year history of engaging agricultural communities in the Western states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada through innovative research and outreach.

WCAHS faculty and staff conduct research on high hazard topics, including air quality, ergonomics, dairy pathogens, and heat illness. Through its robust outreach program, WCAHS reaches over 3,000 individuals annually with health and safety trainings, health fairs, and presentations.”
