Working with the USDA Risk Management Agency, the National Farm Income Tax Extension Committee recently created RuralTax.org, an online tool that provides agricultural producers with a source for agriculturally related income and self-employment tax information that is both easy to understand and continually updated to reflect changes in tax laws. Nevada Small Business Development Center
Nevada SBDC guides and assists Nevadans looking to start and grow businesses, with objectives to increase business starts, create and retain jobs, and increase access to capital. One-on-one counseling services are free and confidential. Nevada SBDC also offers and coordinates a wide range of workshops and courses in collaboration with public and private entities. Nevada SBDC works closely with Nevada Dept. of Agriculture.

Business planning workshops, Bookkeeping training, One-on-one Business advising, Cohort-based growth programs, connections to resources including legal, credit repair, tax prep, access to capital, contracts, and more. We work with all businesses and do not specifically specialize in any industry including farming. We are familiar with the many challenges that are shared across all small businesses.

Ajo Center for Sustainable Agriculture
We provide beginning farmer training, including an incubator farm and incubator market program, plus provide a variety of workshops and technical assistance to farmers, from marketing, financial management and business planning to field practices. We also have a mini-grants program. We specialize on tribal farmers and ranchers, and other socially disadvantaged farmers.

OHSU Health Hillsboro Medical Center’s ¡Salud! Services
A Project of Tuality Healthcare, “The ¡Salud! Services department is staffed with four full-time bilingual/bicultural employees including two registered nurses, a health educator, and an administrative coordinator. These medical professionals work to assist with access to healthcare services for Oregon vineyard workers and their families by utilizing their patient navigator knowledge to provide guidance, education, and to advocate for families which ultimately helps to avoid costly medical expenses. They interact directly with the workers and their families to assist them with health problems and accessibility issues as they arise.” Also partner with Community-based clinics and offer Mobile Outreach Wellness Program.
