Crisis System Redesign Community Forum for Rural & Agricultural Communities- Washington State

FreePlease join the community forum for rural and agricultural communities on Thursday, November 4th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm PST. The Crisis System Community Forum for Rural and Agricultural Communities will be held virtually by Zoom.
The State of Washington is currently working to redesign the crisis system throughout the state and for the implementation of 988 – a national behavioral health crisis line to connect individuals and families in crisis with the help and support they need. Community Members who are interested in the needs of rural and agricultural communities are invited to participate in a community forum to explore the needs of rural communities as the crisis system is being redesigned.
Crisis service topics with an emphasis on rural and agricultural community needs will include:
- Strengths, gaps, and opportunities of the current crisis services
- Critical components of a crisis response system in rural communities
- Critical linkages and practices to other inter-dependent systems (e.g. 911)
- Other topics
