Virtual Mental Health First Aid Training

Please join WRASAP for a Virtual Mental Health First Aid Training
When: Wednesday, June 1st from 9am to 4pm
Timeline: a 2-hour self-paced online study & instructor-led video conference (including instructional time and breaks)
Targeted to educators, extension leaders/directors, medical paraprofessionals, front-line mental health responders, emergency services personnel, clergy, and local political leaders. A fuller exploration regarding specific mental health challenges and the options available to community leaders for community-based intervention referrals. The identification of signs, signals, and risks of mental health and substance use disorders are presented along with initial intervention and referral processes. MHFA training from the Western Regional Agricultural Stress Assistance Program (WRASAP) will focus on the specific concerns of farmers, agricultural workers, their families, and rural communities. MHFA training can be offered virtually or in person at a local extension office or other agreed-on private location in the county.
May be eligible for CEU’s.
