Western Region Agricultural
Stress Assistance Program (WRASAP)
California Agricultural Mediation Program
Our program provides FREE mediation to producers and service providers on covered topics, which are: debt/credit issues, succession planning, leases, neighbor disputes, organic certification, grazing on National Forest lands, USDA loan and program issues as well as any topic the Secretary of Agriculture deems appropriate. What is mediation? Mediation means a trained professional who is not involved personally in a situation helps the parties make a plan for whatever challenge is on the table. The process is confidential and while the professional can support the conversation, the results are always up to the parties.
