Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF)
OFRF’s mission is to foster the improvement and widespread adoption of organic farming systems. Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, UC-Santa Cruz
The Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems is a research, education and public service program at the University of California, Santa Cruz. The Center supports organic farming research on its 25-acre organic farm, and organic farmer and gardener training through its Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture. Environmental Mediation Center
The Environmental Mediation Center (EMC) is a non-profit organization that designs and administers environmental and agricultural dispute resolution programs. The EMC administers the United States Department of Agriculture’s certified mediation programs for California, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Hawaii.
The EMC provides free mediation services to farmers on farm loans, credit issues, USDA conservation programs, lease issues, farmer/neighbor conflicts, family farm transitions, organic certification, pesticide issues, easement issues, environmental compliance, and other issues.
