The Farmers Market Coalition (FMC) is devoted to strengthening farmers markets for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and communities, serving as an information center for farmers markets, and a voice for farmers market advocacy. The FMC hosts a searchable library of resources for farmers, market managers, and sponsors of farmers markets, hosts regular webinars and a national listserv, and publishes a quarterly e-newsletter highlighting best practices.

Culinary Breeding Network
“The Culinary Breeding Network mission is to build communities of plant breeders, seed growers, farmers, produce buyers, chefs and other stakeholders to improve quality in vegetables, fruits and grains.
GOALS
Identify relevant and desirable vegetable, grain and fruit varieties that grow well for organic farmers and taste great
Educate the public about the importance of organic plant breeding
Encourage and empower people to cook with locally grown foods
Promote vegetables, grains and fruits through marketing campaigns
Create relationships between stakeholders in the food system
