The purpose of the Utah Farmworker Program is to provide services to farmworkers and their families in an attempt to: – Help achieve economic self-sufficiency. – Contribute to the stabilization of the farmworkers continued employment in farmwork. – Acquire skills that permit them to upgrade their employment in agriculture or to progress to other employment outside of farmwork. – Support the farmworker during job training.

Mad Agriculture
Our work begins with farm planning. We dream big about what the land wants to be and how to implement regenerative principles and practices. Putting ideals into action is hard to do. We use a combination of community support, capital and markets to activate regenerative agriculture on the land. Our work learns from and contributes to an emerging and diverse community of funders, practitioners and purchasers. We focus on the Midwest and High Plains of the United States. Exceptions can and will be made.

AgrAbility of Utah
The AgrAbility Project was created to assist people with disabilities employed in agriculture. The project links the Cooperative Extension Service at a land-grant university with a private nonprofit disability service organization to provide practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural production and rural living. The AgrAbility Project assists people involved in production agriculture who work on both small and large operations. The state AgrAbility staff provides training, site visits, on-farm assessments, technical assistance, and other information directly to the farmer or rancher with a disability.

Utah State Farm Service Agency (FSA)

The Utah Agricultural Mediation Program (UAMP) mediates agricultural disputes between farmers and ranchers and USDA throughout the State of Utah. The program is administered by the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food and has been certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Western AgCredit is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System established in 1916. Western AgCredit, ACA is made up of two subsidiaries, Western AgCredit, FLCA and Western AgCredit, PCA.
